Aims.

Our goal is to help survivors of sexual abuse. Keep reading to learn more about how we can provide support.

This Trust Fund is dedicated to the memory of my late wife Fiona Scott who, like myself, felt passionately about supporting survivors of sexual abuse.

Fiona was an exceptional and generous person. Her loving and caring nature touched many people’s lives, and made a lasting impression on them.  Throughout her life, Fiona made great efforts to support and protect others.

Greater dialogue is needed about the effects of sexual abuse on people’s lives and the support that is available to them, in order to ensure that potential barriers to recovery can be overcome.

Therefore the aims of this Trust are twofold:-

1. To raise awareness of the needs of survivors of sexual abuse, and to help support their needs,  specifically focussing on the Bradford and West Yorkshire area, by the provision of information, advice and signposting to other local  support services.

2.  Provide financial resources through the provision of small grants to support appropriate services and activities  that will help to relieve the beneficiaries’ needs, as part of established treatment and recovery plans, to assist with their journey in life.

Requests for help from The Will to Survive Trust can be made by individuals or professionals supporting them.
